In this role the foreman plans and schedules pipe‑fitting jobs, orders and manages materials and equipment, supervises staff on safety and performance, maintains an on‑site supervisory presence, attends job‑site meetings, and coordinates clear communication between the field and the office.
Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma or GED (preferred), a minimum of two years supervisory experience in the sheet metal trade, the ability to read and interpret contract and shop drawings, specifications and submittals, basic drafting skills, strong problem‑solving abilities, a valid driver’s license, and will undergo drug testing, background and driving‑record checks, and pre‑employment assessments.
The Sheet Metal Foreman position is full‑time, offering hourly pay from $30 to $44, with a Monday‑to‑Friday, 8‑hour shift schedule; occasional evening work and weekend shifts may be required with notice, and overtime is available.
