Solid knowledge of soil classification, sampling, and testing procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field preferred.
Ability to travel to project sites may require overnight travel, sometimes remote or rugged, and represent our commitment to quality.
Engineer Intern (E.I.) status (preferred).
3+ years of geotechnical or environmental fieldwork, or a mix of education and experience.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical processes.
A valid driver’s license with a clean record (3 or fewer demerit points).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to perform laboratory testing on soil and aggregate samples using standardized methods as needed.
Ability to make meaningful contributions by optimizing lab and field procedures and workflows.
Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal.
