Contracts Administrator

Description

• Effective management of Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Design Consultants, Joint Ventures, etc.
• Identification, notification, evaluation, and settlement of contract variations.
• Preparation of clear and concise correspondence of a contractual, commercial and/or technical orientation.
• Preparation of Sub-Contract Agreements, Supply Agreements, Design Consultancy Agreements, etc.
• Preparation, negotiation, and amicable settlement of claims.

Requirements

We are looking for highly qualified candidates with 8–10+ years of experience in Contracts Administration, ideally within the construction or contracting sector.

• Ability to navigate through complex issues and table practical solutions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify and manage crucial items
• Ability to multitask
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• Ability to run an effective alternative dispute resolution process.
• Contractually astute and particularly well versed in the FIDIC form of Contract.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in a contracting or construction company.
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Risk assessment and decision making
• MRICS or MCIARB certification is desirable.
• Ability to manage the contractual and commercial aspects of large-scale building projects to the reasonable satisfaction of all Parties to the Contract.
• Ability to implement effective contract management strategies
