Creates programming logic through multiple communications protocols.
Programs control applications using various software using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols.
Required to perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications, to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal and design documentation. Up to 50% travel (25% travel expected)
Provide coaching and training to Team Members in the use of the control software and analytical tools where applicable.
Provides remote technical support to installers and customers. May be asked to provide on-site technical support to installers and customers.
Develops system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.

Articulates resolution to a customer’s problem clearly both in verbal and written communication. The resolutions must be explained to the customer in a format that is understandable to the customer. Facilitates resolutions that are in the best interest of the customer and ESI.
Experience in HVAC controls, mechanical systems application, or design.
Experience in HVAC, automation system control, mechanical and automatic control applications, or a minimum of four years’ experience in a related technical field plus two years of experience in the trades and/or mechanical contracting field, or application programming and development.
Must know programming languages such as R and Python.
Must have worked with Tridium Niagara, understands Protocols, Bacnet Router Tables, and has worked with IDF.
