Work closely with clients to define requirements and progress designs to an agreed scope.
Lead and manage the pre-construction phase of energy projects, taking designs through to construction-ready stage.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary design inputs (civils, electrical, grid, structural, environmental).
Monitor pre-construction costs, track design-stage KPIs and identify value-engineering opportunities.
Develop and maintain pre-construction programmes, budgets and risk registers.
Ensure compliance with UK planning, Building Regulations, industry standards (G99, IEC, BS) and CDM 2015.
Oversee design reviews to ensure compliance, buildability, quality and value.
Manage consultant scopes, lead pre-construction meetings and communicate risks and mitigation.

Proven experience implementing and ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Knowledge of G99 grid connection requirements for renewable energy projects.
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, DNO requirements and renewable energy standards.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Proficient in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety Certification.
Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Certification.
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.
