Manage all consultant interaction to formulate land use plan and work directly with various approval agencies related to all entitlement processes
Coordinate with the land development field team and the city to get the project accepted, site utilities turned over and bonds exonerated
Own, understand and negotiate the final project conditions of approval (COA), mitigation measures and development agreements, as applicable, with local public agencies
Manage and coordinate the preparation of civil improvement plans, landscape plans, architectural plans and other design drawings and documents to ensure the design intent and vision for various projects is complete, efficient and comprehensive. Act as Point Person for plan check review process of regulatory agencies to maintain expected project schedules.
Represent Brookfield at public hearings in pursuit of project approvals with the city
Represent the company effectively with elected and public officials
Manage with HOA and land development field team to transfer ownership and maintenance obligations of all Land lots and amenities as soon as practical.
Own, develop, and maintain relationships with a broad range of consultants and negotiate contracts for services including scopes of work, design standards, cost, schedule and quality.
Represent Brookfield and serve on the Homeowner Association board (HOA) of directors through the life of the community or as needed
Regularly meet with the land development team and public officials to discuss issues associated with the development process, which may include processing of RFIs and/or delta revisions to improvement plans.
Assist in the due diligence of land acquisition including the preparation of feasibility studies, project budgets and entitlement and development schedules, as needed
Manage implementation of COAs and other permitting requirements with a key emphasis on understanding significant and impactful conditions
Create project schedules and soft cost budgets for management review
Take the lead with required documentation and applications with local agencies
Lead and provide direction to multi-discipline consultant teams in the coordinated development of public and private improvement plans through issuance of construction permits. Manage decision making processes with consulting team.

5 - 10 years of relevant experience in the industry and strong record of accomplishment is required
