The manager will lead a comprehensive process mapping initiative covering budget formulation, execution, financial analysis, reporting, and related workflows. They will engage directly with client stakeholders to understand current‑state operations, identify process owners, and gather detailed business requirements, then develop and refine process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation. The role includes translating complex financial processes into clear visual documentation, identifying improvement opportunities, managing project timelines, and supporting change‑management communication.

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Re‑engineering Manager to support a Department of State client in documenting, improving, and communicating key budget and financial processes across a major foreign assistance program. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills, excellent client‑facing communication abilities, and experience working with federal financial or budget operations.
Candidates must hold an active and maintained Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in process mapping, workflow documentation, or business process re‑engineering. Knowledge of federal budgeting or financial management processes—preferably with Department of State or foreign assistance experience—is required, along with strong facilitation, client‑engagement skills, and proficiency with process‑mapping tools.
Prior consulting experience supporting federal agencies and familiarity with business process re‑engineering methodologies are desirable. The annual salary range is $113,000–$188,000, with compensation based on factors such as skill set, experience, security clearance, and certifications.
