The Project Manager, Finance and Administration reports to the Vice President of Finance & Administration and is responsible for organizing, planning, and delivering complex projects from initiation through closure. This on‑site role requires strong communication and organizational abilities to keep projects on time, within scope, and on budget while collaborating with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
Key duties include defining project scope and deliverables, developing detailed project plans, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and managing risks. The manager also facilitates meetings, prepares status reports, implements best‑practice methodologies, and leads executive and special projects assigned by the Vice President.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field (business, health care, or higher education) with an advanced degree preferred, and have at least two years of proven project‑management experience. Desired certifications include PMP, PgMP, or CAPM, and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or Jira is required. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., in a climate‑controlled office environment with occasional local travel and flexibility for evening or weekend work. Physical demands involve prolonged desk work, occasional lifting of up to 10 lb, and the ability to interact professionally with the public and internal teams.
