Leads and presents management review data/KPIs to project and sub-function leadership.
Supports the net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for managing carbon emissions during delivery.
Supports procurement routes, contractual, and legal aspects of projects.
Acts as a central point for project and stakeholder engagement, fostering inclusion.
Supports business development and work-winning activities.
Collaborates with project management office (PMO) teams to coordinate deliverables.
Contributes to promoting technical excellence and supports communication/dialogue.
Mentors and networks with peers and disciplines.
Recommends and initiates changes to project delivery plans, develops new design management tools and processes.
Leads the identification, development, and delivery of relevant training.
Develops delegated elements of annual business plan outcomes to deadlines and budget.
Ensures management system adherence and that project roles and responsibilities are followed.
Acts as focal point for design-related matters on projects.
Manages daily operations for project design resources/managers.
Leads and manages design resource for project(s).

Expertise in design risk management and mitigation.
Knowledge of all design disciplines and statutory requirements.
Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
Utilizes knowledge and experience from company resources (Center of Excellence, Knowledge Hub).
Experience in prefabrication/build strategies.
Technical knowledge to challenge designs and proposals.
Leadership and management of large, diverse teams.
Strong knowledge and application of design management systems.
Knowledge of Building Safety legislation, standards, contracts, and H&S laws.
Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and challenge project proposals.
Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
Experience in team building and mentoring.
Understanding of how carbon and sustainability considerations influence projects.
Building safety competence for Higher Risk Buildings.
Ability to influence senior management and improve working practices.
CPD record of continual learning and development.
Experience working with industry leadership and professional bodies (e.g., CLC, CIBSE, RICS, RIBA, ASFP).
Ability to lead, delegate, and develop teams effectively.
Experience with Risk & Opportunity management through design processes.
Understanding statutory and mandatory requirements and timescales.
Good negotiation skills supporting client focus.
Good BIM literacy and management skills.
Knowledge of HSE regulations and sector-specific rules.
