Manager Front Office

Description

The Front Office Manager ensures smooth and effortless movement of guests in and out of the resort, delivering outstanding service throughout the stay. The manager may act as Manager on Duty and respond promptly to emergency calls, upholding the organization’s service culture toward guests and team members.

• Supervise front desk, bell, and valet operations, including work outputs, financial management, facilities, and resources.
• Create and manage team member work schedules and performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, business, and financial regulations.
• Coordinate daily room inventory communication with other departments to optimize revenue and meet guest expectations.
• Monitor guest survey scores, requests, and complaints; collaborate with partners to resolve issues.
• Conduct department training and onboarding for new team members; develop performance plans.
• Manage relationships, contracts, and compliance with business supporters and suppliers.
• Submit work to the Director of Guest Services and General Manager within required timelines.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to maintain clean, neat, and safe common areas, guest rooms, and work areas; participate in inspections.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills a plus.
