

Provides integrated infrastructure services to utilities, telecommunications, and energy sectors.
The Engineer will assist the Network Needs Team in managing civil assets—primarily culverts and slopes—within the Sydney Harbour Zone of the SRAPC. Responsibilities include providing input for maintenance strategies and tactical works programs by collecting and assessing asset condition data, and developing procedures to ensure consistent asset information management across ConnectSydney’s portfolio.
Key responsibilities include ensuring asset database accuracy, planning and conducting inspections, managing defects, supporting contractor management, developing lifecycle models for 3‑ and 10‑year works plans, and measuring performance against KPIs while communicating risks to stakeholders. Field activities may involve visiting asset locations as required.
The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related) and has experience with asset management in an engineering or infrastructure setting, including knowledge of ISO 55001 and data standards. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork or leadership abilities, and a results‑driven approach to meeting deadlines are essential.
