The IFM Senior Facilities Manager for the Poughkeepsie campus leads all building operations, focusing on enhancing occupant experience and delivering exceptional client satisfaction. This role blends traditional integrated facility management with innovative service offerings to create memorable experiences that differentiate the client’s organization.
Daily responsibilities include strategic client relationship management, aligning facility services with business goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement through business intelligence. The manager also oversees financial aspects such as budgeting, vendor procurement, cost‑reduction initiatives, preventive maintenance, risk management, and vendor performance monitoring.
Leadership duties involve managing and developing the facilities team, setting performance goals, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration, and leading by example with integrity and sound decision‑making. Sustainability efforts, energy‑saving initiatives, and project management are also key components of the role.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of facility and operations leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and deep knowledge of commercial real estate and finance. Strong analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills are required, as well as proficiency with digital tools and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
The position offers a salary range of $132,000–$160,000, on‑site work in Poughkeepsie, NY, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, health coverage, paid parental leave, PTO, and early wage access.
