Corinth Reman Security Technician III (Weekend Days)

Description

• Monitor grounds for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to emergency calls, alarms, and dispatched incidents promptly.
• Enforce Caterpillar safety policies, correct infractions, and escort disruptive individuals.
• Assist staff and emergency medical personnel during incidents.
• Perform confined‑space risk analysis, air sampling, and rescue operations as needed.
• Operate rescue and service equipment, forklifts, service buggies, and company vehicles; train others on forklift use.
• Apply basic fire fundamentals, identify fire classes, and safely use appropriate extinguishers.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain in‑house sprinkler systems.
• Identify and manage DOT‑regulated trucking hazards, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
• Represent Caterpillar professionally with strong customer focus.

Requirements

The role requires flexibility to work overtime, alternative shifts, and multiple locations, including both Corinth and Prentiss facilities. Employees must be able to travel between sites for inspections, emergency response, and routine safety monitoring.

• Possess prior security experience and certification as firefighter, EMT/medical first responder, and basic first aid/CPR/AED.
• Demonstrate knowledge of lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, energized equipment risks, and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks, reading/writing reports, and using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between Corinth and Prentiss facilities.
• Meet physical requirements to perform CPR, AED, first aid, and wear respirators or industrial trucks.

Benefits
