
The Deputy Manager / Manager – Projects will act as the single point of contact for clients, driving seamless coordination across design, operations, and vendor ecosystems to ensure on-time, cost-controlled, and quality project delivery across pan-India retail environments. The role demands strong commercial acumen, execution leadership, and end-to-end ownership from project initiation to handover.
Lead vendor negotiations on commercial terms, scope, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and present weekly progress and cost reports to Senior Management and Clients.
Ensure timely completion of projects in line with committed launch dates.
Ensure site readiness and possession from Day 1 for uninterrupted execution.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy in scope, pricing, and change orders.
Develop and strengthen a network of general contractors, vendors, and dealers across regions.
Drive vendor development initiatives to build capacity and readiness for future projects.
Maintain strict control over budgeted costs while ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and quality control across all active sites nationwide.
Review drawings, Prepare BOQs, and material specifications to ensure adherence to quality and design intent.
Ensure design-to-project integration for smooth project execution and alignment on technical feasibility.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to standards.
Drive RFP processes ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and quality vendor selection.
Serve as the primary client interface ensuring proactive communication and service excellence.
Work closely with internal teams (Design, Procurement, Finance, and Operations) to achieve project objectives.
Formulate SOPs aligned with project and organizational standards for consistent delivery.
Deliver snag-free handovers and close-out documentation for client acceptance.
Possess working knowledge of fabrication processes and materials—including printing, lighting, paint finishes, wood, metal, and new technology applications.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management—internal and external.
Experience: 5–6 years in project management within retail roll-out / advertising / fixture manufacturing industries.
Process-oriented yet adaptable to on-ground realities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, fast-paced projects under tight deadlines.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Highly reliable, self-driven, and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Analytical approach to cost, schedule, and quality optimization.
