As a trade-specific maintenance specialist in their field, they act as a global contact for the spare parts business and service projects alike and are independently responsible for the development of various service strategies and their implementation.
In your role as Component Manager Traction, you will be responsible for the components of energy conversion such as traction motor, transmission, power converter, etc.
Through regular exchange with our colleagues in the depots, you will constantly keep an eye on your components over their entire service life and continuously incorporate their operational field experience into the internal trade specification.
In addition, with the aim of optimal maintenance, you will create the necessary serviceability requirement profiles and optimize them for different vehicle platforms over the product life cycle.
As a permanent team member, you will be responsible for secure and competitive LCC data for the components installed in our rail vehicles.
Together with the internal Purchasing and Vehicle Design departments, you will coordinate the finding of solutions in the selection of suppliers in the sense of an optimal project result, both in the project business and in the submission of offers.
In this way, you will actively represent the technical and commercial interests of the Customer Service division along the product development process.

You are familiar with the term’s spare parts management / maintenance / life cycle cost analyses.
You are characterized by quality, cost and deadline awareness as well as an independent approach.
You have successfully completed a degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering.
Practical experience with SAP and in-depth knowledge of the use of Excel are an advantage.
Ideally, you already have some professional experience in the service environment, project management and/or engineering of rail vehicles.
You speak German and English fluently and enjoy working in a team.
