A leading construction firm specializing in diverse sectors like infrastructure, commercial, and residential.
As a Safety Manager at Clark Construction, you will protect employees, trade partners, and the public across world‑class construction projects. The role is centered on fostering a culture of care while enforcing Clark’s Safety and Health Policy and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
You will lead safety education in partnership with project supervisors, develop safe work plans for every phase, and ensure hazard mitigation is built into construction planning. The position also mentors safety staff, conducts third‑party safety reviews, and supports corporate safety initiatives such as OSHA alerts and Red/Blue Alerts.
Candidates must have at least five years of construction‑safety experience and an undergraduate degree in safety and health or equivalent trade experience. Required expertise includes managing crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffold, and heavy‑equipment safety, with strong communication and stakeholder‑influence skills. Preferred credentials are OSHA 30‑Hour, CHST or CSP certification, and first‑aid/CPR training.
The role is active and hands‑on, requiring frequent navigation of uneven job‑site terrain, lifting up to 25 lb routinely (occasionally 50 lb), and comfortable work in elevated or confined spaces. You will split time between field work in all weather conditions and office tasks such as document review and meetings.
