Description

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Work independently with limited supervision while following safety and housekeeping standards.
• Write detailed maintenance and job‑specific technical reports.
• Keep accurate, up‑to‑date maintenance records and incident reports.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment (e.g., fan coil units, fan power boxes, forced‑air heaters).
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment.
• Maintain building automation systems, specifically Johnson Controls MetaSys.
• Collaborate with coworkers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Document system configurations and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality.
• Proactively take on new initiatives, adapt quickly, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Building Operator Millwright with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical disciplines to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid trade certificate and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

The role requires both independent work and collaboration with coworkers to address maintenance issues, strict adherence to safety, security, and housekeeping standards, and accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance records, and incident reports. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Candidates must have extensive mechanical experience as a millwright, in‑depth knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and hold relevant certifications such as the Industrial/Construction Millwright 433A.

• Demonstrated millwright experience with strong mechanical knowledge.
• In‑depth understanding of building automation and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of building automation interaction with security infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across multiple systems.
• Communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy.
