Maintain daily logs of equipment usage

Undertake plant operator duties, checks and basic routine maintenance
Reporting of defects / hazards
To execute all activities safely and efficiently to agreed work plans, safety management system requirements and best working
Promote company values and standards and exhibit appropriate behaviour in accordance with Company ethos
Safe operation of plant & equipment
To assist in all aspects of access & accommodation including but not limited to; groundworks, environmental mitigation, duct installation, culvert installation, fencing, site set-up, signage, CDM demarcation and assisting cable laying teams
Maintain daily logs of safety checks
Read, understand and implement all applicable plans, procedures and work instructions for the project, ensuring always, that the project works is undertaken safely and to a high standard
Deliver the work productively
Working to levels supplied by the Site Engineer for cut & fill/floating access road/pad activities & groundworks
Complete all work scopes in accordance with the applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
Must stop any work that is unsafe
Deliver the work safely
Install pumps and monitor water pumping operations
To work within established Company policies and procedures
Install when required temporary works (boxes, trench sheets) as per temporary works design parameters
Daily maintenance of plant (grease joints etc)
Install the work site (fencing, signage, guarding, bog mats, trackway, etc.)
Responsible for assessing ground conditions for use
