Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and pull-planning
Willing to travel domestically and internationally at times.
Experience/familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling concepts and scheduling tools, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Management, SureTrak, and/or Primavera P3/P6.
Excellent initiative and organizational, communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
EIT, or the successful candidate will plan to pursue the Fundamentals of Engineering exam if not already obtained. Following successfully obtaining the EIT designation, when qualified, Vertex will support candidates pursuing their Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
Working towards a BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction. Individuals with experience and/or interest in construction with technical backgrounds may also be considered.
No former litigation consulting experience necessary
Desire and ability to learn about, analyze, and explain new or unfamiliar technical concepts relating to varying types of construction projects.
Ability to problem-solve and evaluate strengths/weakness of multiple arguments.
Benefits
The compensation for this role is between $25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and location
