- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the supply chain strategy for proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and project goals.
- Coordinate with commodity managers and suppliers to obtain preliminary quotes, support Design-to-Cost workshops, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Solve the world's most significant problems – Be part of exciting and innovative projects.
- Lead procurement efforts during the proposal phase, including early engagement with engineering and proposal teams to develop accurate, competitive Costed Bills of Material.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify supply chain risks during the proposal stage to develop mitigation strategies and contingency planning.
- Ensure proposal documentation reflects accurate procurement assumptions, timelines, and cost structures.
- Drive material cost optimization using historical data, market trends, and parametric analysis.
- Develop and present procurement plans and supply chain strategies as part of proposal submissions and internal reviews.
- Simulate cost scenarios and critical issues using market intelligence and purchasing data to support bid decisions.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and report costs versus budgets in a project or proposal environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with senior leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in project procurement, with a strong background in proposal or pre-award activities preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and other digital tools for cost modeling and analysis.
