Performs applications configuration and tuning, performance, uptime, and health monitoring and security patching in support of Energy Management System (EMS) platform
Execute validation tests, results analysis, defect analysis and triage
Analysis and update of functional and non-functional traceability matrix
Provides technical support and problem-solving capabilities
Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break/fix patches and modifications
Ensure that the systems database is adequately sized and configured to support all remote field devices utilizing various protocols and calculated values
Deliver weekly report detailing Energy Management System support deliverables completed during the reporting week
Ensures quality assurance standards and procedures are followed
Provides documentation on test and user procedures
Implement technology solutions to optimize the effectiveness of the EMS platform, and help develop appropriate procedures for their implementation and operation
Provide auditable documentation recording the changes on the Energy Management System platform delivered as part of support services
Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS platform

Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Required) or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields
Experience in GE PowerOn Reliance with background in power system applications & concepts
5+ years of work experience in Power system applications - Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control, Dynamic Stability Analysis, Load Forecasting, Operator Training Simulator (OTS)
Experience working in Linux/ Windows Operating systems & working experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL DB) is preferred
