Over 2,000 simulators
Global Deployment Footprint
Units have been distributed across over 50 countries, supporting the advancement of grid technologies and their safe implementation worldwide.
Born from groundbreaking research in the late 1980s at Canada’s HVDC research centre, they built the first fully digital real-time power system simulator.
Since incorporation in the early 1990s, they have pioneered hardware-in-the-loop simulation, enabling real equipment to interact safely with virtual grids.
Headquartered in Winnipeg, they operate globally, supplying custom real-time simulators to utilities, manufacturers, research institutes, and universities.
Their flagship simulator combines proprietary hardware and software libraries to model electromagnetic transients with unparalleled fidelity.
Typical projects include HVDC validation, microgrid and renewable integration studies, digital substation testing, and cybersecurity testbeds.
