Adjuster - Testing and Commissioning

We are looking for a qualified Adjuster – Testing and Commissioning to join our team. The adjuster will be responsible for installing elevators and escalators, performing precise mechanical and electrical adjustments, and handling the full testing and commissioning process to meet company and regulatory quality standards.

• Adjust counterweights and control systems to optimize performance
• Prepare service reports verifying compliance with prescribed standards
• Deliver tasks on time based on the project schedule (AIM) and supervisor guidance
• Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) properly
• Test and calibrate safety components like brakes and governors
• Inspect and adjust elevator/escalator systems to meet factory specifications and safety codes
• Adjust hydraulic systems (pump pressure, fluid levels, power supply)
• Inspect wiring connections and control panel setups, including gap and timing adjustments
• Check and adjust doors, hoistways, and mechanical installations for accuracy and alignment
• Operate elevators at various speeds to assess power demand
• Test power consumption and line voltage using professional tools (tachometer, voltmeter, ammeter)
• Strictly follow all company safety and compliance policies
• Follow detailed installation and quality assurance procedures

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical layout drawings
• Skilled in the use of electrical equipment and testing instruments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to detect and permanently resolve product safety and quality issues
• Experience assisting during client, consultant, or third-party inspections
• Confident in coaching and supporting technicians on-site
• Proficient in adjusting, testing, and commissioning elevators and escalators
• Capable of performing final mechanical and electrical adjustments on-site
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
