Installation and support for access control systems
Bend, cut, and install conduit in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, hard hats, and other site-specific safety gear may be required.
Installation and maintenance of security systems
Terminate wires at appropriate terminals and create wire nut connections safely and accurately.
Installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Support work on fire suppression systems
Running and terminating voice/data cabling
Perform work offsite at customer locations, including clean and unclean conditions, and in hot or cold environments.
Integration of kitchen appliance shutdown devices with fire safety systems
Setup and configuration of CCTV (closed-circuit television) systems
Operate a range of power tools including, but not limited to, drills, rotary hammers, and bandsaws.
Ensure all installations comply with NEC and NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) requirements.
Review project scope, drawings, and tasks with the lead technician prior to starting work.
Pull wire through a variety of environments including above drop ceilings, inside walls, through conduit, and across exposed joists or ceilings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout all phases of the project.

Familiarity with low-voltage (12V–70V DC) and line-voltage (120V AC) systems.
West Virginia Low Voltage License
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work in both indoor and outdoor settings, exposed to various weather elements.
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree is a plus.
Experience using electronic test equipment and troubleshooting tools.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with H Endorsement
Basic understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics.
City of Pittsburgh Electrician License
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
BICSI Certification
Read and use a tape measure accurately; perform basic construction math as needed.
Comfortable adapting to change with little advance notice.
Company-issued mobile phone for work-related communication.
Basic knowledge of wiring and/or electrical construction.
Knowledge of CCTV, structured cabling/data systems, and access control technologies.
Ohio Fire Certification
Proficient with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical and low voltage work.
Experience with fire alarm system installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or inspection.
Ability to work overtime and adjust to varying schedules as required.
NICET Fire Alarm Certifications
Demonstrates strong teamwork and a collaborative mindset.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
OSHA Certifications
Ability to safely operate scissor lifts and aerial lifts.
Must be willing and able to travel for overnight stays when necessary.
Ability to climb ladders ranging from 6 ft. to 32 ft. and work safely from heights as required.
Prior customer service experience is a plus.
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
