Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DOB requirements and OSHA safety practices.
Oversee and review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and related documentation; prepare and maintain Procore reports based on project progress.
Interface with various units within the Department of Buildings (DOB), external agencies, and third-party utilities to coordinate project activities.
Assist in the preparation of project management plans, project execution plans, and quality assurance plans.
Ensure inspection, testing, and acceptance requirements are properly executed and documented.
Manage the overall scope, quality, safety, and schedule of work.
Evaluate and prepare recommendations regarding the sequence of construction activities, means, and methods, particularly in railroad environments.
Conduct regular on-site inspections and site walks to verify compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Manage and monitor the quality of work performed by 4–6 subcontractors, including maintaining quality documentation.
Assess and monitor the sequence of critical path activities to maintain project timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Hands-on experience overseeing construction elements such as concrete, asphalt, and related civil works.
Proven expertise in resolving issues promptly in alignment with standard engineering and construction practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations, as well as industry safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
Solid MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) background with prior experience coordinating and supervising MEP installations, commissioning, and integration with overall building systems.
Strong technical expertise, specialist knowledge, and project coordination skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules effectively.
Strong background in building construction, including new developments, rehabilitation projects, and complex structural work.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing the design and construction of major projects.
Proficiency in personal computers and office software, including Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
