The Service Account Leader is responsible for service customer account leadership, driving labor and material growth and executing the service business for the assigned customer base. This role ensures profitability, productivity, customer relationship development, employee development, retention, and safety program compliance.
The leader sets and monitors gross‑margin goals, drives L&M growth through technicians and team leads, and manages warranty‑related customer issues. Responsibilities also include procuring and maintaining fleet and tools inventory, supervising service delivery processes, approving quotations, and handling budgeting, forecasting, and accounts payable/receivable.
The position maintains appropriate staffing levels, oversees hiring, training, and transition of new employees, conducts formal performance reviews, and ensures day‑to‑day service team performance while upholding safety standards.
Candidates must have technical school training or equivalent experience in HVAC or building controls, three or more years of management experience in a service delivery environment, and strong prioritization, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Additional qualifications include basic financial accounting, MS Office proficiency, and a preferred diploma in electronic or mechanical systems; five plus years in a similar service management role is ideal.
