Site/Project Engineer – Tier 3 Civil Contractor

Description

As the Site/Project Engineer you’ll be joining a thriving business where you will be responsible for managing on site programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management and supervision of all technical aspects of the project. You will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.

• Assist with the preparation of claims and manage disputes when necessary
• Coordinating internal and external resources
• Planning and scheduling of construction activities
• Preparation of management reports
• Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
• Resolving site issues in a timely manner

Requirements

Our client is a well-established Tier 3 civil contractor, that have a strong presence in the public sector, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site/Project Engineer to join their growing business.

• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
• 3+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m+
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project management qualifications will be advantageous
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
• Effective problem solving abilities
• Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
