The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of general office operations and support activities. This may include serving as the receptionist, greeting visitors, handling mail, preparing correspondence and forms, performing data entry, managing office supplies, arranging meetings, maintaining calendars, and making travel reservations. The role also requires observing safety procedures, attending safety meetings, and recommending improvements.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of administrative or related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, good verbal and written communication, the ability to follow instructions, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
