Communicates to leadership when potential issues are foreseen, or potential issues arise that may inhibit performing tasks within the allotted schedule and budget
Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
Prepare permit documents, construction plans, and specifications for facilities including landfills, recycling facilities, transfer stations, and convenience centers
Prepare Part B Permit Application Documents and associated permit documents for Industrial Facilities
Prepare construction cost estimates and financial assurance estimates
Prepare SWPPPs, SPCC Plans, and ARAP Applications
Prepare permit documents, construction plans, and specifications for remedial actions related to Voluntary, RCRA, and CERCLA clean-up actions
Work on multiple projects simultaneously including providing support to the senior technical lead on projects
Producing plan, profile, cross-section, and detailed drawings for projects related to remediation, environmental construction, and civil infrastructure.
Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops
Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts
Preparing and editing drawing/map products including contouring, digitizing, editing, and data management.
Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fields from an accredited four-year college or university.
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to complete design drafting work with minimal supervision.
Advanced knowledge of engineering principles
Ability to complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher class
Strong organizational skills
EIT license - preferred
One to four years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience working with civil infrastructure.
Outgoing / team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
