Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team development within the business.
Undertake detailed building inspections and defect analysis across sectors such as residential, education, and healthcare.
Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and technical documents using NBS.
We are seeking a confident and capable Senior/Associate Building Surveyor to join our busy London consultancy team. This role offers the opportunity to work across both public and private sector projects, delivering Building Surveying, Project Monitoring, Contract Administration, and producing Building Safety Cases for higher-risk buildings. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in our London and Kent offices on high-profile projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered (MRICS) professional or someone working towards chartership with strong experience in JCT contracts and fire remediation projects.
Proficiency in producing specifications and schedules of work using NBS, under JCT IFC or similar contracts.
Knowledge and experience of producing Building Safety Cases.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (3 years for those working towards qualification).
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Fire Safety legislation, and guidance from the Building Safety Regulator.
Confident in using Quality Management Systems.
Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
Experience delivering fire remediation and new-build residential projects under Pre-Construction Services Agreements (PCSA).
MRICS (or equivalent) professional qualification is desirable. Applications welcome from candidates with a relevant degree and minimum 3–5 years’ experience working towards professional qualification.
Solid contract administration experience on repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
Valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum
