This role ensures compliance with customer requirements, efficient use of resources, and continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
The Production Superintendent is responsible for managing production programs and quality objectives under cost, safety, and environmental parameters established by the company.
- Provide coaching and development for direct reports.
- Report any safety or environmental risks to the EHS department.
- Promote operational controls related to energy, water, and waste management.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal according to established guidelines.
- Review and approve production schedules.
- Administer and develop the human resources under their responsibility.
- Ensure that supervisors understand and apply operational controls within their areas.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with the Training Department.
- Conduct regular meetings with production personnel.
- Oversee physical inventory processes and ensure accurate reporting.
- Support internal and external audits (first, second, and third party) for quality and environmental systems.
- Attend production and planning meetings.
- Participate in budget planning and capital investment analysis.
- Establish operational goals and metrics that contribute to the plant’s performance.
- Ensure personnel comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in and support activities involving team members under supervision.
- Ensure efficiency across production systems, safety, quality, and inventory control.
- Oversee manufacturing operations (WPS/ECA) with the support of the plant’s management team.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives related to customer issues or safety risks.
- Monitor key performance indicators to ensure company goals are met.
- Evaluate absenteeism and turnover rates and implement corrective actions.
- Manage personnel in alignment with customer and company requirements.
- Manage the production plan according to customer requirements.
- Production planning and logistics (MP&L).
- Ensure compliance with product quality objectives.
- Plan preventive maintenance activities and delegate responsibilities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Support visits from clients and corporate teams.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing environments.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Analytical thinking and effective decision-making.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, TRESS Supervisors, BPCS, and ETQ systems.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Quality and environmental standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
