As the Quality Lead Engineer for the Controls Engineering organization, you will support multiple Gas Power business lines across the four Quality Workstreams—Zero Defect Culture, New Product Introduction, Supply Base Quality, and Management of Change—while collaborating closely with the Controls Quality Leader to enhance engineering quality throughout the product lifecycle.
You will oversee day‑to‑day quality operations for a global team of over 1,000 engineers, coordinating issue resolution, QMS auditing for ISO accreditation, and monthly operating reviews, and you will partner with corporate, Gas Power, and Controls quality communities to embed a zero‑defect culture.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of engineering experience, preferably in the power generation industry, with demonstrated ability to coach, apply root‑cause analysis, drive continuous improvement, and influence outcomes in a large, matrixed organization.
