The Leasing Consultant, or Ranger, is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue through in‑person sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, touring properties, processing applications, preparing lease packages, and ensuring smooth move‑ins. The role also manages offsite marketing initiatives, monitors market trends, enforces lease agreements, supports renewal programs, and addresses resident and owner concerns promptly.
- Greet and qualify prospects face‑to‑face
- Conduct property tours and show apartments
- Process applications, credit checks, and background screenings
- Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages
- Execute offsite marketing and resident referral programs
- Analyze market and economic trends to recommend improvements
- Enforce lease terms, including inspections, evictions, and collections
- Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and renewals
- Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and resolve issues
- Maintain property safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance
- Perform daily inspections of leasing office and community amenities
- Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in property management, sales, marketing, or customer service. Strong communication, presentation, and computer skills—especially proficiency with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite—are essential, along with the ability to meet physical demands like lifting up to 20 lb independently.
