Communicate with design team, client staff, plan approving and permitting authorities as needed
Prepare specifications through research of industry, federal, state, regional or municipal publications
Prepare reports and narratives for use in the completion design and construction documents
Perform site assessments, including zoning research and code requirements, available utilities, GIS research, and site constraints
Prepare construction cost estimates using local and industry standard pricing guides
Develop site plan sets for review by authorities having jurisdiction. Typical plans include demolition plans, erosion and sediment control plans, site plans, utility plans, profiles, and detail sheets
Perform site visits for project orientation and construction observation
Site or subdivision design using industry standard software such as Civil 3D
Complete stormwater calculations using engineering formulas or software
Preparation of permit applications and supporting documents
