Support the High Consequence Hazard (HCH) Processes and sites in sustaining and improving MI efforts and activities to include creation of new Preventative Maintenance Safety Critical and non-safety critical PMs, updating changes to Inspections, Tests or PM Frequencies. Ensure PSM requirements for all Critical Safety Devices and equipment such as PSVs are met and updated.
Develop Asset Management Policy, systems and frameworks to manage site capacity and load based on lifecycle requirements, inspection and auditing requirements. This includes consideration of effective drawing and documentation policies, that changes are managed and document libraries are up to date.
Work with SMEs to establish inspection/repair plans, identify relevant damage to mechanisms, select appropriate inspection tasks/NDE methods, and develop inspection/maintenance plans for all equipment. Determine remaining life cycle calculations and next inspection dates based on equipment condition and incorporate that information into the inspection scheduling plan for the site including fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, exchangers, heaters, tanks, etc.)
Develop an industry wide external network to identify best practice, innovations and improvement opportunities for mechanical systems & assets. Champion and disseminate these through the SPS team and Manufacturing Services.
Ensure, API, ASME, NFPA, NBIC, and other applicable Standards and RAGAGEPs are incorporated into the MI program, particularly as it relates to Inspection and Repair. Review and approve inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with applicable API, ASME, NFPA, NBIC codes, etc.
Direct, manage, and support site MI program element to include contributing to design, specification, construction activities and quality assurance of process equipment. Support/lead MI compliance auditing efforts at process and site level.
