The Fire Sprinkler Manager provides oversight of management, operations, and financial performance for assigned sprinkler departments, acting as a subject‑matter expert to achieve profitability, growth, and performance metrics.
The role ensures safe, compliant work while managing staffing levels, equipment maintenance, and ongoing employee training.
The manager is accountable for the department’s financial results, communicating progress and growth strategies to leadership, and aligning schedules, material preparation, and billing to support efficient operations.
- Oversee fire sprinkler inspections, services, and installations.
- Manage department financials including P&L, revenue, margin and overhead.
- Conduct quality assurance via spot checks, ride‑alongs, and safety talks.
- Adjust technician routes and schedules for efficiency.
- Coordinate project meetings, final checkout/commissioning and billing.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and fleet in collaboration with Purchasing.
- Lead staffing, talent acquisition and employee certification programs.

Candidates must possess relevant education, industry experience, and certifications, demonstrate strong communication and computer skills, hold a valid driver’s license, and be prepared to travel extensively.
The position requires physical abilities such as lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying conditions, along with adherence to safety policies and use of personal protective equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 3 years fire life‑safety industry experience.
- Supervisory experience (preferred) and strong computer skills.
- Proficient in English communication (read, write, speak).
- Familiarity with business intelligence systems (e.g., Sage 300 CRE).
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel 90 % of the time.
