Adolfson & Peterson Construction, one of the nation’s top contractors, is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager. The role oversees field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality, and coordination of trade contractors and suppliers on projects typically under $5 million or as a component of larger endeavors. Safety is paramount, and all team members are expected to contribute to an Incident‑and‑Injury‑Free (IIF) culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction‑related field + 2+ years experience, or high school diploma + 7+ years directly related experience.
- Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Strong understanding of building plans, specifications, value engineering, and life‑cycle costing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives; OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 100 lb, and work in extreme climate conditions.
- Willingness to travel and accept long‑term off‑site assignments.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- High integrity, ethical standards, and strong analytical and precision skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and listening communication abilities.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships.
