We are seeking an Engineer to manage the operation and maintenance of building systems, oversee vendor work, and serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring compliance, safety, and optimal occupant comfort across our facilities.

• Operate, inspect, maintain, service and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, life safety and ancillary systems safely and per design.
• Coordinate and oversee outsourced vendor work, reviewing scopes, scheduling, and supervising to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timeliness.
• Serve as primary day‑to‑day tenant contact, building relationships and maintaining open communication.
• Ensure proper tools, test equipment, protective gear and technical literature are available for tasks.
• Respond promptly to tenant service requests, monitor building automation system, adjust systems, and schedule external vendors when needed.
• Coordinate and monitor on‑site construction activities, tour sites, attend meetings and assist contractors on engineering matters.
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts, materials and supplies, controlling costs and efficiency.
• Ensure facility compliance with governmental regulations (ADA, CFC, OSHA, etc.).
• Follow safety procedures, identify hazards and implement mitigation methods, including proper lockout/tagout.
• Keep mechanical and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Monitor building conditions, including vacant spaces.
• Assist Property Manager with budget process and securing bids.
• Interface with leasing team and prospective tenants as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time, prioritize workflow and work independently.
• Physical capability to perform duties requiring speed, mobility and force.
• Proficiency with Microsoft‑based software.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment while delivering accurate results in an organized manner.
