Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis and data visualization.
Working knowledge of coding/programming using (R, VBA, Python) will be a plus.

Awareness of or willingness to learn hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, HEC-HMS)
Knowledge in hydrology and hydraulics of urban and rural catchments including rainfall runoff analysis, design flood assessment and analysis.
Ability to follow quality procedures and to maintain high quality standards in own work.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Highly motivated and proactive, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Skilled at collaborative working, have good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
A strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, and / or Master’s degree in Water Resources/ Water Science Engineering/ Hydrology or a closely related field from a reputable university.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and competent in using emails and the internet.
Able to produce technical reports in English in a clear and concise form.
Enthusiasm to learn new skills and new work procedures.
Have strong organizational and time management skills.
