
The role involves designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs, including manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and quick reference guides, while continuously updating content to reflect system upgrades, new releases, and business process changes. The trainer delivers classroom, workshop, and one-on-one sessions for staff across retail stores, distribution centers, and head office, providing onboarding for new employees on Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, Dynamics 365 modules, and in-house software, as well as refresher sessions to improve efficiency and reduce errors. With a focus on ERP systems, the trainer specializes in Dynamics AX ERP across finance, supply chain, retail operations, and warehousing, while also providing training on Dynamics 365 and custom in-house applications to ensure proper adoption and usage. The role acts as a bridge between IT and end-users, gathering feedback on usability, collaborating with IT developers and business analysts to identify training needs, providing post-training support, and evaluating employee performance on system usage. Additionally, the trainer develops user guides, FAQs, and step-by-step instructions for IT processes, while tracking training attendance, completion, and effectiveness through reports and KPIs.
We are seeking a qualified IT Trainer with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field and 3–5 years of IT training experience in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP), with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 considered a strong advantage. Experience with retail and distribution processes and training users on custom-built software applications is highly desirable. Technically, the candidate should have a strong understanding of ERP systems, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate or Captivate, with familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the patience and problem-solving mindset to address user challenges are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be able to adapt training styles to suit different audiences and learning needs.
