Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Assist Maintenance Mechanics with troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, including mixers, batch plants, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and motors.
Clean work areas, remove debris, and help ensure the maintenance shop and plant remain safe and organized.
Help maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and shop organization.
Assist with building maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
Support scheduled preventative maintenance activities and document work performed.
Perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing worn parts.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other plant equipment as trained.
Report equipment issues, hazards, and downtime to maintenance leadership promptly.
