Required to have 5+ years’ construction management / supervision experience with a proven track record of carrying out construction management / supervision activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high value road and / or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity to CBCIW.
Ability to create a collaborative culture across the project team
Chartered / Incorporated / Associate Engineer of a relevant professional body is desirable.
Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service
Experience in the supervision of construction of bridge and reinforced concrete structures
Ability to manage multiple technical requirements and teams within a construction environment
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters and
Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:
Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies
Strong team leadership skills with an ability to influence to drive effective design decision making
CDM and Health and Safety and their application in the workplace
Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery
Required to have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
High level of attention to detail
Member of the Institute of Clerk of Works in Ireland is desirable.
An extensive knowledge of civil and structural engineering works
