FDC Power Platform Developer

Description

• Support Citizen Developers in the business in understanding how to use AGOL/Survey 123 to develop their own FDC forms
• Create Field Data Collection (FDC) forms from analog versions or examples from alternative digital platforms provided by various disciplines within Stantec ES.
• Follow appropriate documentation and change control processes.
• Support formal user acceptance testing activities such as test case creation, execution, and issue resolution.
• Engage with ES Data Practice FDC leadership to better understand processes and formulate solutions given a set of requirements.
• Independently shepherd a solution from development to deployment to ongoing support.
• Transparently communicate issues and resolutions, seek clarifications to align with project teams, and escalate with resolution steps taken.
• Development of Azure logic apps and Azure functions to extend the Power Platform capabilities.
• Provide support for the platform to ensure staff using the tools remain productive and billable.
• Adhere to Stantec’s data security requirements.
• Develop solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing applications using the AGOL and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Responsible for production environment and evaluation of production code, including code review of junior and intermediate team members.

Requirements

• SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Excel & PowerBI experience a plus, but not required
• 7+ years of handson experience using the ESRI platform with an emphasis on their field data collection ecosystem (Survey123 FDC form development, Field Maps integration, and Experience Builder)
• Understanding and experience working with agile development practices.
• 7+ years of handson experience in a professional software development environment.
• Excellent knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a Power Platform environment.
• Experience with leveraging data from ERPs, particularly Oracle is highly desirable.
• Experience in test planning, preparation, and execution.
• ESRI AGOL, Experience Builder, Survey123, and Field Maps project and form development experience is required.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Online (preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with Jira, Gitlab or Confluence.
• Capable of developing both prototype and enterpriseclass solutions.
• Proactive communicator
• Technical leadership skills.
• Experience using Microsoft’s Power Platform.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problemsolving skills.
