Attending and reporting at regional/national sales meetings
Working with the Commercial Manager and Bids & Tenders team in the timely compilation of tenders, proposals and agreements for Major Account Customers
Preparation of annual team budget
Are you ready to bring your energy, passion and people skills to become a key player in our Major Accounts Team? You will manage a team of Major Account Managers and Representatives, whilst working on your own portfolio of accounts. We work with some of the largest construction and utilities clients in the UK, so we are looking for someone who prides themselves in providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and can provide creative ways to further improve our service.
Identifying and maximising revenue from your own portfolio of Major Accounts via regular visits to Head Office, regional offices and large sites of these customers
Preparing and submitting reports to Group Major Account Director
Delivering a sales strategy for major accounts focused on achieving goals
Accompanying Major Account Managers on visits to customers as and when required
Regularly monitoring service levels at Major Account level and make recommendations to Operations for improvement
Providing direction in line with business strategy to manage, motivate and measure the performance of Major Accounts Managers
The ability to prepare proposals and deliver presentations in a professional manner
Driving Licence (essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate at a senior level
IT literacy and sound administration skills are essential for this role
An in-depth understanding of customer service
Sound man management skills with the ability to motivate and nurture a team of sales professionals
A proven track record in sales (preferably within the Hire/Construction industry)
