Associate Product Manager

Overview

Assist product management with launches, analytics, training, and customer support

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Communicate company messaging to representatives, engineers, distributors, and contractors. -Updating databases, collecting requests for product requirements, and creating foundations for business cases. Develop dashboards for Product Team to manage analytics, providing “deep dives” into data, becoming the “PowerBi Expert”. -Create product documentation and sales collateral for sales and technical presentations. -Develop relationships with all manufacturer’s representatives and specialized distributors in the region. -Educate manufacturer reps on product and applications. -Take on various jobs and tasks to support the product team -Support / lead teams in new product launches using Stage Gate Process Manage projects with Engineering and Product Development ensuring product launch is on time and on budget. -Provide product training to the sales reps, distribution personnel as well as customers and end users. -Attend tradeshows and industry events as required.

What You Bring

-Travel required for learning and understanding the Voice of the Customer (VOC). -Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. -Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and specific piping industry codes and standards -Ability and desire to learn quickly new business systems including PowerBI -Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering focus is preferred -Project Management-Product Analyst skill set -Travel up to 25% -2+ years of experience in preferably technical business. Experience with Backflow prevention assembly product manufacturing or product management a plus. -Believes in customer-centric and data-driven product design processes -Possesses knowledge of sales channels – distribution, contractor, end-user, specifying engineers,etc.
