- Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and blueprints to program and machine parts to precise specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal product quality.
- Perform MIG welding of fixtures (1/4" - 3/4" thick carbon steel).
- Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes.
- Maintain an inventory of consumables, tools, materials, and machine parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Document and track production progress, including machine settings, tool usage, and material consumption.
- Assemble fixtures and set up basic load testing conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.

- Compliance with safety protocols and proper use of protective equipment is required.
- Proficiency with CAM and CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control standards.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CNC fabricator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
- Ability to MIG weld mild steel for fixture loading.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines is a plus.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and potential hazards; safety gear is provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production and testing deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of CNC fabrication principles, materials, and testing and manufacturing processes.
