A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5‑8 years of relevant experience (or a master’s degree with 3‑5 years) are required, along with any necessary certifications. Preferred qualifications include advanced Excel, strong communication and negotiation skills, prior commodities purchasing experience, and knowledge of long‑steel products, lumber, or panels.
