Attends periodic safety meetings as required. May recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
Assigns drivers and vehicles to convey customer orders according to desired or anticipated delivery schedule.
Responsible for assisting dock personnel in the checking in of returned goods properly and accurately.
Responds to customers and/or sales staff complaints/concerns regarding deliveries.
Creates daily/weekly schedule to assist drivers and warehouse staff in planning their work activities.
Assists dock personnel with pulling & loading material as needed.
Confers with customers and/or sales staff to determine desired delivery times.
Coordinates flow of orders to be produced.
Responsible for checking loads to ensure accuracy and proper load securement.
Invoices all orders shipped in accordance with what is requested.
