Cultivate customer relationships, technical advisory support for generations, and large load interconnections connecting to transmission system
Contribute to the team’s research and innovative activities in terms of development of new techniques and/or analytical tools to enhance team’s performance in terms of efficiency and/or capability improvements
Develop or modify automation scripts to enhance the efficiency, speed and accuracy of technical simulations
Perform Electro-magnetic Transient (EMT) Studies such as sub synchronous resonance (SSR), control interaction (SSCI), ferro-resonance, temporary overvoltage (TOV), switching overvoltage (SOV), transient recovery voltage (TRV), harmonic, energization etc.
Produce and/or review technical reports and presentations for external Customers
Timely completion of projects assigned while meeting project quality and project budget
Develop/tune PSCAD models, perform PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking analysis

Strong organizational, interpersonal (written & verbal) skills, problem solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of other Electricity Markets (such as PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISONE) planning & interconnection practices
Knowledge of inverter-based resources (Wind, Solar, Battery Storage) and associated control
Active PE License
Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
Doctorate degree with emphasis on Electric Power Systems
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Demonstrable hands-on experience with one or more power system analysis software packages including PSS/E, DigSilent Power Factory, TSAT, TARA, ASPEN
Knowledge of ERCOT Electricity Market planning & interconnection practices
Master’s degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in Power System and Control
In-depth understanding of fundamentals of electric power systems and renewable energy, small-signal and large-signal control stability
Hands on experience performing EMT, SSR studies
