  • Participate in continuing education in order to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the field of building decarbonization.
  • Communicate with contractors on an as-needed basis to support project completion.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to ensure program KPI’s are met regularly.
  • Manage multiple projects at once.
  • Communicate findings to representatives of participating households, answering any questions they have.
  • Synthesize findings from energy assessments into reports and energy models with actionable next steps.
  • Perform administrative tasks required to facilitate customer intake and scheduling.
  • Assist with outreach efforts as needed.
  • Meet with EGLE and internal Program Team as needed to communicate program insights.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and clients by ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct energy assessments with the goal of identifying a pathway to decarbonize households, and to assess for quality of work completed.

  • HVAC, lighting, controls, / renewable energy
  • Ability to accurately review project proposals and/or final project submissions to ensure adherence to program requirements and processes for final approval.
  • Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed (e.g. BPI Healthy Housing Principles).
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Certified as a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst Professional, preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, and/or field work.
  • May occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration. In these circumstances, the employee will be required to comply with the prevailing safety training in place according to the individual customer requirements.
  • Building science & design
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • At least 3 years working experience in one or more of the following fields:
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
